Lone Tree Veterinary Services was founded in 2022 by Dr. Mike Rohde.
Dr. Rohde was born and raised on his family’s commercial cow-calf ranch South of Colome, SD. He acquired his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree at Dakota Wesleyan University and then went on to Iowa State University to complete his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Rohde is focused on providing valuable services and therefore is interested in all things involving cattle health, economic efficiency, and sustainability. He is heavily involved with organized veterinary medicine; primarily utilizing his membership and involvement with the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) and the Academy of Veterinary Consultants (AVC).
During his free time, Dr. Rohde enjoys podcasts, watching football, various physical activities, hunting, and reading. His significant other, Dr. Brittney Evans, is a veterinarian in Mitchell, SD. Together they have 3 dogs; Oscar, Creed, and Stevie.
